Inside Sales

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling corporate products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The Inside Sales Representative will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communications skills. This individual will also develop his or her phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Integrity, vision and passion are essential for this role.


Job Duties:

· Cold-call prospects that are generated through marketing resources

· Prospect and qualify opportunities with target clients

· Identify decision makers within targeted accounts to begin sales process

· Coordinate follow on phone discussions with same clients and sales executives

· Make outbound follow-ups calls to existing customers via telephone and email for cross-sell and up-sell

· Overcome objectives of prospective customers

· Maintain and expand our client database system

· Gather and build profiles of key contacts, companies and industries, as well as current and future opportunities, at target clients (be an early responder to qualified leads we may not be aware of)

· Assist with industry and hosted events by making pre and post phone calls to target attendees

· Assist in miscellaneous sales and marketing activities

· Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position

 

Measures of Success

· Number of monthly phone appointments conducted with targets

· Number of scheduled phone meetings resulting in face to face meetings

· Number of qualified opportunities

· Number of proposals resulting in wins

· Revenue generated from efforts

· New client relationships established as a result of effort

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

Skills:

· 2-4 years of business-to-business telemarketing type experience

· Prefer experience with a professional services type of firm

· Excellent communication and speaking voice

· Strong problem identification and objection resolutions skills

· Well organized and ability to collect and structure information gathered

· Team player

· Reliable follow-up

· Self-motivated/Self driven

· Ability to research prospective targets and establish dialogue

· Ability to learn new industry/solutions quickly and understand how to articulate value propositions

· Ability to engage prospects in thoughtful, business oriented conversation establishing credibility and uncovering potential business opportunities

· Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients
