IT Consulting Sales Executive - Life Sciences

Sales Executive

Alliance Life Sciences is seeking a Sales Executive to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be based in New Jersey, New York or Philadelphia.  Please note that this is an individual contributor role.   

 

The Candidate will:

 

·         Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products and offerings.

·         Be responsible for developing, building, and growing business within named pharmaceutical clients.

·         Have experience selling into the Commercial business of Life Science companies.

·         Have experience managing existing accounts as well as driving opportunities and revenue from new accounts.

·         Introduce Alliance Life Sciences solutions offerings through formal presentations and discussions. Offerings include:

·         Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

·         Understand evolving industry area and identify key business challenges and be able to effectively articulate the value proposition of Alliance’s offerings to perspective clients.

·         Build and maintain relationships with all levels of client management including C level.

·         Build credibility to drive future business opportunities.

·         Lead pursuit teams in the development of solutions and proposals.

·         Leverage process and negotiation skills to finalize business agreements.

·         Manage to Alliance gross profit margin standards.

·         Be responsible for ensuring that all-necessary contractual paperwork is executed by Alliance and by the client.

·         Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas while contributing to the larger business development and marketing effort of the team.

·         Contract Strategy, Operations & Compliance

·         Commercial Operations & Analytics

·         Global Pricing and Reimbursement & Market Access

 

Required Experience

 

·         10+ years of experience selling management/IT consulting services and software to Life Sciences industry

·         A proven track record of initiative and ability to manage and follow process and forecast independently

·         Excellent organization and time management skills

·         Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop credibility and relationships quickly

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Global Pricing Software, Revitas or Model N sales experience a plus

·         Bachelor’s Degree
