Digital e-Commerce Business Analyst

This is a full time permanent role with us at our Fortune 100 client in Princeton NJ. You will be joining our team of 40+ employees.

e-Com Functional Requirements

Provides the e-Commerce Product line with product management support in the ideation, submission, delivery, and enhancement of the product roadmap globally.
Catalog and help prioritize business requirements with the business sponsors, analyze potential solutions, and translate requirements into solid system designs. 
Collaborate with project manager, content editors, developers and other roles for the maintenance and enhancement of store sites.
Works cross functionally with the business team, technology team, as project manager to design and specify complex business solutions to scale the business. 
Gather and produce detailed business requirements, including non-functional requirements, for all e-Commerce projects according to accepted best practice. 
Lead, conduct and facilitate meetings with business users, vendors and information technology personnel as well as directs solution to system and business problems. 
Manages and resolves the more complex systems related projects by ensuring that business users’ needs are met and perform gap analysis where appropriate. 
Work with cross-functional and cross-agency teams to develop monthly performance dashboards and quarterly reports. Develop & execute weekly channel specific executive dashboards and seasonal daily reporting for key time periods including Holidays and trending ecommerce sales days
Regular data extraction from internal DB (SQL), Google Analytics, Adobe Suite, DOMO, Demandware, Orbit, Salesforce and additional data sources. 
Visualize and apply a narrative to data insights to drive further understanding of the industry and the consumer. 
Leverage internal and external resources to gather relevant industry benchmarks for digital metrics. 
Effectively deliver timely, insightful and actionable analyses and present in a group or individual meetings. 
Perform custom analysis and ad hoc queries as needed. 
Assist in metrics planning and forecasting; including creation of metrics plans. 
Participate in the development of the annual business plan process (P&L) Will provide financial or operational business related analysis and research to support business goals. Decision Making / Problem Solving. 
The Business Analyst is responsible for capturing project requirements, designing comprehensive solutions and ensuring that the end deliverables satisfies the eCom’s objectives and expectations 
Direct and coordinate team activities to ensure that projects progress on schedule and within budget, that cost targets are met, and that all deliverables are complete; as well as identifying and eliminating barriers to success. 
Lead and coordinate the estimation, planning and execution of approved eCommerce engagements and projects

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in computer science, finance or related field. MBA a plus. 
Minimum 5 years of sales, category management, or sales analysis experience is required. 
Ability to develop analytical processes and tracking methods. 
Ability to understand and maneuver between customer information sources/systems and systems. 
Ability to manage large volumes of data and analysis simultaneously. 
High analytical and problem solving skills. 
e-commerce knowledge with the ability to convert business/functional requirements into logical business rules and functional requirements 
Ability to apply specific knowledge of the business and knowledge of systems technology capabilities to business problem solving providing operational support 
Knowledge and experience of major integration points between an e-Commerce application with Order Management, Warehouse Management, Financial and Retail Systems 
Experience in launching and/or supporting a Global e-Commerce platform 
Strong organization and follow-up skills. 
Must have eCommerce experience preferably Sales Force Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 
Proven ability to work effectively with people at all levels 
Demonstrated advance command of the following Microsoft software applications: Word, Excel, Power Point
